TUBAISTE KIRKINTILLOCH
Rang V and Rang VI will travel to the Tubaiste Kirkintilloch Exhibition in Áras Forbairt Acla, Keel on Monday morning.

RUDOLPH THE RED NOSE REINDEER
Naíonáin Bheaga(Junior Infants) to Rang II(Second Classs) will be going on their school tour on Tuesday, 4 December. We will be attending a performance of Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer in the Royal Theatre, Castlebar. We will go to Funster for food and playtime afterwards. The cost of the trip will be €15 per child. The remaining cost of the concert, food, playtime and bus will be subsidised by D.E.I.S. funding. The bus will leave the school at 9:25a.m. and we hope to be back in the school at 3:00p.m. If there is any change to this we will let you know. We will be in ‘Funster’ from approximately 12:30 to 1:45p.m. If you are in Castlebar on Tuesday and would like to pop in you are more than welcome.

CHRISTMAS CONCERT
Our bi-annual Christmas Concert will be held in the school on Thursday, December 13 at 7:00p.m. Oíche Airneál a mbeidh i gceist i mbliana agus beidh chuile rud i nGaeilge. Beidh chuile pháiste sa scoil páirteach ann. Beidh fáilte roimh cách.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
Go raibh maith agat to everyone who sent shoeboxes into the school. The shoeboxes were collected from the school recently.

BOOKS, THE IDEAL CHRISTMAS PRESENT
We are holding a book fair in the school this week. A large selection of books will be available to purchase. With Christmas just around the corner it may be an opportune time to get some Christmas presents. Children will be allowed browse the books during the week and books may be purchased on Thursday between 10:00 and 12:30 and on Friday between 2:00 and 3:00. You are welcome to come into the book fair during these times. For every €1 spent on books the school will receive 60c worth of books.

ART WORKSHOPS
Mrs. Howley our DEIS co-ordinator has organised art workshops with Kate King Roberts for the children in the school tomorrow.

STAFF BUNTÚS TRAINING
The teachers will be attending Buntús training on Wednesday, November 28. School will finish for all classes at 12:30p.m.

GAME PLAYING DAY

We say go raibh maith agat to all the children who contributed to the recent Games Playing Day. The money has been forwarded to charity and the games should be with us shortly.

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD

Please return any shoeboxes you may have at home for the Operation Christmas Child Appeal to the school by Monday.

SCHOOL BOOK RENTAL SCHEME
We thank you for the prompt payment of the rental fees. If you have not paid the fees yet, we would appreciate payment as soon as possible.

SWIMMING CLASSES

Thank you to everyone who has volunteered to take their own children to the pool this year. (Details below). We will be leaving the school at 10:45 and hope to be back in the school around 1:00. Children are permitted to bring two treats with them tomorrow, but from next week treat day will be on Thursday. Children are not permitted to buy any food or drink at the Leisure Centre.
